If The Sonnet House could have brides and grooms like Cassidy + Adam every week, our job would be a piece of cake! These two, along with their families, were such a pleasure to work with and are easily the nicest folks on the planet. Cassidy + Adam shared a common vision for their wedding day and knew exactly what they wanted. The first thing they chose? Our elm tree.
Shortly after their engagement, Cassidy gave us a call and simply said, “I want to book your venue.” Within one week they had toured, booked, and the planning process had begun. With the plan set for the wedding to take place by the tree, the details started falling into place. Nature served as the ultimate inspiration, with Corey bringing in pastel tones to the floral decor. Our birch arbor was adorned with greenery and floral badges while white church pews were brought in for family seating.
Todd Helzer Photography captured the day perfectly and really made their woodland wedding shine. Cassidy wore a Bohemian styled wedding gown by local designer, Heidi Elnora Atelier. Her bridesmaids were styled in mismatched pastel gowns and they were p-e-r-f-e-c-t-i-o-n. Gypset Beauty Company was on board to perfect the looks and would you just take a look at Cassidy’s long and flowing red locks? Be still, my heart.
The details didn’t stop at the ceremony. Whether you’re taking in the custom guestbook designed by Cassidy, or the styled groom’s dessert table (donuts), the custom monogram designed to be used throughout the big day, or even the “Best Day Ever,” topper for the bride’s cake, you don’t want to miss the details.
Congratulations, Cassidy + Adam! We wish you many many years of happiness!
