The Sonnet House adored working with Holly + Steven throughout the planning process. They were wonderful and their families may have been the nicest ever! We took care of their catering and flowers, and the amazing Rob Ingram of Rob and Wynter Photography captured every last detail. Holly lost her mother semi-recently and so she wanted to make sure that green gladioluses, her mom’s favorite flower, were incorporated into the wedding. Corey used the blooms not only in the ceremony flowers and food table arrangement, but also in Holly’s bouquet which had a locket with her mom’s photo tied in. Her mother was also remembered with a wind chime which was placed at the ceremony spot.
Holly found her perfect gown at The White Room Birmingham in Mountain Brook. On her wedding day Holly told me that when she tried on the Paloma Blanca wedding dress on in the store, Cathy, the owner, was moved to tears. We can certainly see why! Her white satin open toed Kate Spade pumps completed her look and she was absolutely stunning.
The bride’s cake was made up of baby bites from Pastry Art Bake Shoppe and the groom’s cake was done by the bride herself with University of Alabama and Wisconsin cookies from Icing on the Cookie in Homewood. Party Booths out of Nashville had one of the coolest photo booths we’ve ever seen and DJ Doug, of Metropolitan DJ entertained guests for hours. Seriously, Metropolitan DJ sits high on our list of favorite wedding entertainment. At the end of the night guests were shuttled back to their hotel by Rare Transportation. We hope you enjoy Holly + Steven’s wedding photos from Rob and Wynter as much as we do.
