The Sonnet House fell in love with Lindsey + Andrew (and their families) immediately. From the time we sat down to discuss their menu and flowers until they exited their reception, it was obvious they were one of those beautiful and genuinely sweet couples that you remember forever.
Smith Squared Photography shot Danielle + Brandt’s wedding back in May, and Lindsey loved their photography style. Shelly + Josh are fabulous to work with and make our job of coordinating so much easier. If you haven’t checked out their work yet you are seriously missing out. We truly are fortunate to work with so many couples and vendors each year, but when you have an amazing vendor roster like we did for Lindsey + Andrew’s big day, it makes it that much better!
Lindsey and her bridesmaids started their day off by getting their hair and makeup done at Morgan Ashley Salon. Morgan Ashley is located just up the street from us and make it so easy for bridal parties to get in and out, not to mention plenty of space to spread out while they’re in the salon. Corey enjoyed working with Lindsey and her family deciding on a color palette, fall tones of red, orange, and sunflower yellow, to carry throughout the ceremony and reception. Despite a week of temperatures that fell into the single digits, it warmed up enough on Saturday to be able to hold the ceremony outside at the fireplace. Our favorite ceremony musicians, Cahaba River Strings, played for the ceremony and Matt Carroll & the Browncoats entertained guests in our chapel for the reception. Magic Muffins Bakery handled both the bride’s cake and the groom’s cake, which was actually made up of chocolate chip cookies. The night was capped off with our favorite vintage Rolls Royce, Elizabeth, from the Coats Classic Cars fleet.
