It isn’t always easy bringing glamour to the great outdoors but we tend to thing we do it well. Bailey + Todd’s June wedding at The Sonnet House is a perfect example of glamour meets nature. The two tied the knot outdoors at the stone fireplace. While rain did come later in the evening, it gave us plenty of time to hold the ceremony outdoors and gave guests the benefit of having the reception indoors with the air conditioning. Twins Ryan and Andrew Tipton of Live Free Photography captured the beautiful day on camera and were gracious enough to share their lovely work with us. Fun Fact: Ryan and his wife, Cheryl, got married at The Sonnet House back in 2013!

The bride herself stunned in a Martina Liana wedding dress from The Something Blue Shoppe. Bailey’s bridesmaids wore dresses that ranged from shades of blue to peach and pink from Show Me Your Mumu, a great online resource for not just bridesmaids dresses but boutique fashion in general. Corey Daniel Florals used romantic summer blooms like garden roses, veronica, freesia, white helloborus roses, ranunculus, lisianthus,  and astilbe combined with textured blooms like wax flower, scabiosa pods, and various greens to create the perfect floral palette in shades of soft pink, blush, and white. Bailey and the most important ladies in her life had their hair done by Morgan Ashley Salon just up the street from us, and their make up was done by the super talented Mackenzie of Cosmetics by Mackenzie

The wedding cake was a three tiered design from Magnificent Cakes and was decorated with floral pops and included a floral base all the way around the bottom tier. The gold cake stand and blush table linen added the perfect pop of color and sophistication to the otherwise simple and textured cake. Did you know when doing a complimentary tasting with Hilde of Magnificent Cakes that you’ll actually get a chance to try six to seven different flavors that she offers? It isn’t uncommon at all for couples to report back what a hard decision it was to choose just a few flavors to offer. It makes us want cake just thinking about it!

We loved having the opportunity to celebrate Bailey + Todd and wish them nothing but the best in their future. Congratulations!
