When it comes to the perfect wedding day, The Sonnet House could not have asked for much more when it came to the Alabama weather for Jana + Chase’s early May wedding. With a team of fabulous vendors and an amazing bridal party and families, the day was destined for perfection. Birmingham based wedding photographer J. Woodbery Photography captured every little detail and there were certainly plenty of them.

Jana wore beautiful high collar Allure Bridals gown with an exquisite keyhole lace back from Diane’s Formal Affair in Jasper, Alabama. Her bridesmaids wore taupe floor length dresses from JJ’s House online, a great affordable bridesmaids dress alternative. Hair and Make Up Artist, Rene Pitts of Salon Suites, styled both Jana and her bridesmaids. Chase and his groomsmen wore navy suits which were rented from Brenda’s Formal Wear in Clanton, Ala.

Our in house florist, Corey Daniel Florals, created lush tablescapes and bouquets in shades of peach, blush and cream to create the light and airy feel Jana wanted for her decor. The ceremony fireplace was decorated with gold lanterns with pops of flowers in the wedding palette with a gorgeous, lush greenery garland which flowed from the mantel to the hearth. The wooden cross that was provided by the family, will hang in Jana + Chase’s home following their wedding. It’s always lovely to have personal touches like that which can decorate your home and always bring you back to such a joyous day.

Jana chose a traditional wedding cake but opted for lots of opulent flowers on it. For Chase’s groom’s dessert table, a lovely chocolate cake decorated with chocolate cat tails was surrounded by tons of lovely desserts like iced sugar cookies to look like bass fish and even cake pops made by Indulge Sweet Shoppe to look like fishing bobbers.

Happy first anniversary, Jana + Chase! We enjoyed working with you guys for your big day and wish you nothing but happiness in your future!
