Ingrid + Jason’s March wedding at The Sonnet House is not one we will soon forget. Not only was it jaw-droppingly gorgeous, but she made the call to get married outdoors even in the rain. Love it! Our number one goal for every wedding is to make our clients happy and if getting married in the rain is what it takes then that is what we do. Obviously it takes an incredible sport to do this (we love Ingrid!), but it also takes a dedicated staff and a fabulous team of vendors to pull off.
Birmingham wedding photographer, 205 Photography, was with us this day and Jana was such a pleasure to work with, as always. Luckily, the weather throughout the day was nice and all of the photos were able to be done outside. Corey designed a beautiful blush bridal bouquet with dusty miller, sweet eskimo, bridal akito, and garden roses. For the reception he used gold mercury glass with blush and white flowers.
Ingrid purchased her amazing Justin Alexander bridal gown from Bella Couture in Mount Laurel, Alabama. She enlisted the help of one of our favorite hair and make-up artists, Melissa Bogardus, doesn’t she do a lovely job?
Barb Sullivan, the owner of Barb’s Cakes, created a beautiful “skinny cake” with ruffles that matched Ingrid’s wedding dress. For his groom’s cake, Jason chose a three-tier chocolate cake with peanut butter icing complete with Reese’s cups trailing down.
